In 2021, Founder and CEO Takepea met with beekeeping friends and realized that the bee hives they were purchasing left a lot to be desired, such as poor quality wood releasing toxins and closed structures that interfered with ventilation, which can be fatal to cute baby bees! Takepea decided to create a sleek, modern, and luxurious bee hive starter kit for the bees to reproduce and grow! a biologically active installation.
